RECEIPT OF RECORD DATE
Abano Healthcare Group has today confirmed that it has
received notice from Masthead Portfolios Limited of a
record date of 4 October 2007 for the proposed Partial
Takeover offer previously announced by Masthead.
Abano remains unaware as to if or when the offer will
be made.
The board of Abano recommends shareholders take no
action in regards to the Masthead proposed offer until
they receive a copy of the Target Company Statement
from the Abano board.
The Target Company Statement will outline the
recommendation of the Abano board and will also
contain the independent advisors report. This will be
provided to shareholders as soon as practical after
the Masthead offer document is posted.
